Description RiVidium Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Cybersecurity Engineer to support a federal client. This position is contingent upon contract award and funding approval. As such, this job posting is intended to identify qualified candidates for a potential future opportunity and does not represent a currently available position. The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for enterprise cybersecurity engineering across identity, cloud, endpoint, network, siem/edr/xdr, vulnerability management, zero trust, least privilege, logging, monitoring, ir, rca, and security baselines.
Primary Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership within assigned engineering discipline.
- Design, implement, document, and continuously improve enterprise engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support operational readiness, modernization, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
- Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and implementation guidance.
- Participate in engineering reviews, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications: - 6+ years cybersecurity engineering; hands-on IAM, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, NIST SP 800-53/800-207, and incident response experience.
Education / Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, engineering, or equivalent; CISSP, Security+, cloud security, or equivalent credentials preferred.
Security Clearance: - Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required.
Compensation: $155,000.00 - $185,000.00 annuallyThe listed salary range represents a general guideline; however, RiVidium Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. At RiVidium Inc. it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
