Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineering Lead supporting TOS II, at Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, TN The Cybersecurity Engineer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems as well as author, implement and execute cybersecurity policies and procedures. They will lead a team of cybersecurity analysts and help architect cybersecurity solutions for current and future information systems.
Job Duties:
- Supervise team of ISSMs/Information System Security Officers (ISSO).
- Direct and oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.
- Capture and refine information security requirements and effectively integrate them into information systems through architecting, design, and configuration management.
- Employ best practices for implementing security requirements.
- Ensure patch management and flaw remediation are carried out on systems in accordance with System Security Plan (SSP)
- Oversee continuous monitoring activities to include auditing in accordance with the SSP.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand and gather system artifacts for security compliance verification.
- Maintain working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards and operational security measures.
- Implement Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to monitor and validate system security.
- Document the results of Assessment and Authorization activities and prepare and submit System Security Plans and the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M.
- It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
- Perform other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) customers, using Windows and Linux operating systems and Information Systems Security Manager/Officer (ISSM/ISSO) experience.
- A master’s degree with at least 8 years of experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience may be substituted.
- Current Top Secret SCI with eligibility for access to Special Access Program (SAP) information.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
- Current U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Have and maintain a DoD 8140 certification (CISSP, CISM, CISSO, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, FITSP-M, ).
- Prior experience in roles such as System or Network Administrator.
- Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as ACAS, NESSUS, SCAP, CornerBowl, SPLUNK, Solarwinds.
