Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Active or Current TS/SCI security clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT II+ certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
• Hands-on experience with RMF processes and ATO documentation.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools like ACAS and IAVM.
• Knowledge of system hardening techniques and STIG compliance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute RMF processes for Assessment & Authorization (A&A).
• Develop and maintain Security System Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and ATO artifacts in XACTA/eMASS.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and manage remediation efforts using ACAS/IAVM.
• Implement and validate NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 security controls.
• Support systems hardening, patching, and STIG compliance for both Windows and Linux environments.
• Monitor classified systems and assist with incident response activities.
• Evaluate security implications of system changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, administrative, and DevSecOps teams.
