Full Job Description
Auria is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Analyst to support a classified mission operations program for the U.S. Space Force. This role is part of the core cybersecurity team, supporting the Cybersecurity Lead in RMF control implementation, continuous monitoring, and DevSecOps pipeline security integration.

Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid). Travel to Government and Auria facilities may be required.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

  • Support the Cybersecurity Lead in RMF control allocation, implementation, and documentation across the program system boundary.
  • Implement STIG checklists across assigned technologies including Windows, Linux, cloud, network devices, and applications.
  • Run vulnerability scans, maintain the system Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and generate remediation reports for open findings.
  • Contribute to continuous monitoring processes; report and respond to changes in the system that impact the security posture.
  • Collaborate with the DevSecOps Lead to integrate security scanning, STIG validation, and control automation into the DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) and penetration testing activities; analyze results and document residual risk.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing cybersecurity policies and standard operating procedures.

  • 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity on classified DoW programs, with demonstrated experience implementing RMF controls.
  • Experience with STIG implementation across multiple technology stacks (Windows, Linux, network, cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools (ACAS, Nessus, OpenSCAP, or equivalent).
  • DoW 8140 IAT Level I certification required; Level II preferred (Security+, GSEC, or equivalent).

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

  • Current U.S. Government Top SECRET clearance.
  • Experience supporting DoW, U.S. Space Force, or Space Systems Command programs.
  • Familiarity with AWS GovCloud security tooling and automated compliance pipelines.
  • Experience with malware analysis, forensics tools (FTK, Wireshark, Autopsy), or intrusion detection.
  • Ability to use Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript to automate repetitive security tasks.


PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $99,918-$135,000
