Cyber Solutions Architecture Director

The Opportunity:

Lead the visioning, technical architecture, development, and implementation of strategic cybersecurity solutions using various systematic approaches, listening to multiple viewpoints, determining the course of action for addressing complex problems, architecting solutions, authoring original text, and leading consensus-building discussions with colleagues and clients in multiple settings. Work closely with government clients and industry partners to define, develop, and oversee the design and implementation of approaches and methods that successfully translate complex functional requirements into cyber solutions. Lead the development of intellectual capital related to next-generation cyber opportunities, and drive proposal efforts and client discussions that help the team grow into new and adjacent business areas.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience leading teams across a complex and wide variety of federal civilian IT environments as a solutions architect and technology subject matter expert
  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, configuring, and delivering COTS software in support of enterprise security solutions, and interfacing directly with senior government, including GS-15, CISO, CIO, and technical directors
  • 6+ years of experience managing technical integration and solution delivery for federal civilian clients
  • 4+ years of experience with IT security operations, including assessment of information assurance and interoperability
  • Experience with the design and implementation of Zero Trust networking, ICAM, SASE, ZTNA, CASB, and Cloud projects, thought leadership across the technology ecosystem, and implementing innovative and differentiated cybersecurity solutions leveraging emerging technology, automation and orchestration, AI/ML, quantum, and cloud for large, complex federal organizations
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture
  • Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high-quality implementation plans and roadmaps, and to form partnerships across key players within the technology and federal civilian sectors
  • Ability to partner with industry-leading cyber and AI partner companies to enhance mission technology capabilities
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field
  • Information Security Certification such as CEH, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual27s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $185,700.00 to $345,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen27s total compensation package for employees.
