Full Job Description

The Digital Sector is seeking aCybersecurity Training Managerto support the DISA GSM-O II TN22 Boundary and CSSP Services Program. GSM-O II delivers network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the Department of Defense (DoD), and Combatant Commands.

The Cybersecurity Training Manager serves as the TN22 lead for program-wide cybersecurity training and workforce readiness. The position provides leadership, oversight, and reporting for training, qualification, and readiness activities across the program9s geographically distributed workforce.

The successful candidate will partner with the TN22 Program Manager, Service Delivery Manager, training staff, site coordinators, technical and functional leads, task-order leadership, and Government stakeholders to assess readiness requirements, identify training gaps, develop remediation plans, and deliver timely, decision-ready readiness reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the TN22 cybersecurity training and readiness program.
  • Develop and maintain training plans aligned to assigned DoD Cyber Workforce Framework work roles, contract requirements, mission needs, and applicable DoD 8140 qualification requirements.
  • Track workforce qualification status, training completion, individual development plans, continuing professional development, and mission-specific training requirements.
  • Establish and maintain readiness metrics, dashboards, and recurring reports for program and Government stakeholders.
  • Identify workforce capability gaps and recommend prioritized training, qualification, mentoring, and remediation actions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and assess collective training events, technical exercises, and other readiness-validation activities.
  • Capture lessons learned and develop corrective-action plans following exercises, training events, readiness assessments, and operational feedback.
  • Coordinate training schedules and resources across multiple sites, work centers, shifts, and stakeholder organizations.
  • Maintain documentation and audit-ready records supporting contractual training, qualification, and reporting requirements.
  • Brief program leadership and Government stakeholders on workforce readiness, training risks, trends, resourcing needs, and recommended actions.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure training content reflects evolving cyber threats, operational tools, procedures, and mission priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor9s degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 12+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cybersecurity, IT, or operational training programs in a large, distributed organization.
  • Working knowledge of DoD cyber workforce concepts, including DoD 8140 and DoD Cyber Workforce Framework work roles.
  • Experience developing readiness metrics, analyzing workforce data, and producing executive-level reports and briefings.
  • Ability to coordinate competing priorities across Government, contractor, technical, and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DISA, a Cyber Security Service Provider, network operations, or cyber defense operations.
  • Experience designing or evaluating collective training events, exercises, or cyber range-based training.
  • Project or program-management certification or comparable experience.
  • Familiarity with learning-management systems, workforce analytics, and training-record management.
  • Advanced certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, GLSC, or CASP.
