Internetwork Consulting Services (ICS) is currently seeking an experienced
Solutions Architect to become part of our Federal Strategic Cyber Group.
Location: Northern VA. On-Site, Full-time. Program OverviewThe DSCM program encompasses cyber security, data analytics, engineering, technical, managerial, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DOS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting the DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges.
About the Role- Define, design, and enhance enterprise security architectures and systems.
- Partner with Application, Data, and Infrastructure teams to design and implement secure, scalable solutions.
- Establish, document, and oversee the implementation of security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with Federal regulations; implement remediation plans as needed.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Security Risk Management Plan to support program and mission objectives.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.
- Must either possess and maintain, or obtain prior to start date, one of the following professional certifications:
• CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• Security+ - CompTIA Security+
• Net+ - CompTIA Network+
• A+ - CompTIA A+
• MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional
• MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
• CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
• MCSA - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
U.S. Citizenship required.
Active Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience conducting industry and peer security reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to author white papers, technical recommendations, or security architecture documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical and executive audiences.
- Prior experience in Federal or DoD cybersecurity programs.
- CISM Certification
- CCSP Certification
