THE WORK
As a member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the cyber resiliency of the USSF Space Fence System radar. This includes tasks such as:
• Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
• Conducting vulnerability scans
• Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system
• Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
• Implementing security updates and patches
• Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools
• Providing support to maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package
• Supporting system administrators, engineers, and operators when troubleshooting events
• Collaboration with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained
• Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
• Supporting the Security Impact Analysis (SIA) process through the generation of Contract Deliverables (CDRL) and RMF supporting artifacts both on unclassified and classified networks.
Please Note:
• This position requires a government Secret security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• This position will involve around 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.
Travel Requirements include:
• Travel to and work in person at Moorestown NJ - SFS Systems Integration Laboratory
• Travel to Space Operations Center, Eglin AFB Site C6 FL
• Potential travel with US Passport to Sensor Site 1, Kwajalein Atoll, Royal Marshall Islands.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to contribute their skills and expertise to our mission.
You should have demonstrable knowledge in cybersecurity administration or systems administration, through practical, hands-on work experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team are essential.
You should have a solid working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems and have an active CompTIA Security+ certification or higher IAT Certification.
You should also be able to obtain a US Secret Security or higher level Clearance.
Having experience with ESS, ACAS, or SolarWinds security tools is a plus, as well as experience with Windows Active Directory and a familiarity with DISA STIGs.
Basic Qualifications
• Related Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's Degree with 3+ year or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience.
• Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems.
• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP)
• Ability to obtain an Secret DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a Security Clearance requires US citizenship.
• Ability to travel up to 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.
• Must hold a valid US passport.
Desired skills
• Tenable Security Center, Tenable Nessus, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) administration experience
• ACAS scanning
• Trellix and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) administration and monitoring
• SolarWinds tools experience
• Linux/Red Hat or Windows OS certifications
• Experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance
• Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
• Troubleshooting as a systems administrator
• Good organizational and coordination skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to support and collaborate with a team
• Critical thinking skills to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Familiarity with eMASS and maintaining and executing a POA&M
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $101,000 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $116,200 - $201,365. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
