Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Security Clearance: Secret

We are seeking a strong Cyber Security Engineer to support our Platform One Operations Party Bus program. This is an exciting new initiative where the Air Force is looking to Omni to provide a fully managed Platform as a Service so that DoD and industry partners can quality develop and deploy software into a secure production environment using hardened containers and configuration as code in order to provide a secure managed DevSecOps platform for various development teams. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Responsible for safeguarding information systems assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and implementing security into infrastructure, platforms, and software
  • Development of cybersecurity architecture with ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements
  • Responsible to maintain and improve a platform Authority to Operate (ATO) in cloud environments, and have hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) security assessments
  • Document assessments and processes
  • Communicate the outcomes of assessments to leadership
  • Ability to work independently and with a cross functional team
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with agile and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Demonstrated cybersecurity experience with linux operating systems
  • Experience hardening Kubernetes and containers a plus
  • Experience with Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc), Security Products, network vulnerability scanning platforms
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • 2+ years experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes preferred
  • XACTA and EMASS experience
  • Specific knowledge of NIST RMF 800-53 controls
