Full Job Description
Amentum has a great opportunity for an N3 Cyber Operations Analyst II to support the Cyber Group ONE Command, located in JBPHH, HI. This position is responsible for the coordination and execution of Offensive and Defensive Cyberspace Operations for two Cyber Squadrons in support of the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command Pacific (FCC PAC) and Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber Navy Forward (JFHQ-C FWD).

You would be an excellent candidate for this position if you:
  • Are a self-starter professional who takes initiative to work independently, after initial instructions are provided.
  • Can troubleshoot and seek operational solutions by coordinating with various team members and stakeholders through multiple communication channels.
  • Have strong communication skills in gathering information and presenting results.
  • Apply critical and analytical thinking to analyze large amounts of data and make connections.
  • Possess Information Technology skills in navigating data analytics, databases, Microsoft products, data visualization tools and other IT platforms.
  • Utilized various supporting IT platforms to enable operational activities, such as SharePoint and other NIPR/SIPR platforms.
  • Synchronized planning, administration, staffing and knowledge management activities among higher headquarters staff to enable operational management activities.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Specified duties and responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate with higher headquarters for operational requirements
  • Coordinate with adjacent units to deconflict operations and operational support
  • Generate written orders to subordinate organizations
  • Track the execution of subordinate units' operations
  • Process subordinate organization's operational reporting to create products for leadership and higher headquarters
  • Develop and document operational processes
  • Conduct the full military planning process for operational planning
  • Develop and manage operational battle rhythm
  • Be able to lead battle rhythm events


Minimum Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI and CI POLY. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Cyberspace Operations Planners Course
  • Information Operation Planners Course
  • 10+ Years of experience with Department of Defense or government supporting operations from the tactical to high operational level or geographic combatant command level
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level equivalents


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (technical degree): Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Strategic Studies
  • COMPTIA Certifications
  • Experience in technical writing and editing, as well as cyber incident management
  • Experience in the U.S. Indo-Pacific theater of operations supporting cyber operations


Compensation & Benefits

HIRING SALARY RANGE: The salary range for this position is $165K to $180K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
