Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, System Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Must meet IASAE Level II baseline qualification requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a full DoD Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required to start.
• Experience in cybersecurity and risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with automated and manual vulnerability assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and submission of RMF packages in government repositories.
• Conduct security control assessments and draft Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Maintain continuous monitoring strategies for systems.
• Perform automated and manual vulnerability assessments using tools like ACAS (Nessus) and SCAP.
• Act as a liaison between software development teams and the Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
• Analyze security logs to detect anomalies and support incident response or forensic investigations.
• Apply security engineering principles for secure designs and configurations, including firewalls and access controls.
