Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a CSSP Cyber Assessment Analyst & Planner to work in VA Beach. The candidate must have active TS/SCI Clearance.

Supports DOT&E CAP planning, execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting of Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP)-focused cyber readiness assessments. The position evaluates CSSP capabilities and their effectiveness in supporting operational missions and works with Combatant Commands, Military Services, cybersecurity organizations, network defenders, operational staffs, and other CAP personnel to develop and execute cyber assessments.

Essential Duties -
  • Plan and coordinate CSSP-focused CAP cyber readiness assessment activities.
  • Coordinate with supported organizations, cybersecurity personnel, network defenders, operational staffs, exercise planners, trusted agents, and CAP technical personnel.
  • Evaluate CSSP capabilities and activities in relation to supported mission requirements and cyber readiness objectives.
  • Develop assessment objectives, CONOPS, Event Plans, Data Collection Plans, ROE, and related planning documentation.
  • Develop and maintain data collection methodologies appropriate to assigned cyber assessments.
  • Identify data requirements necessary to measure assessment objectives and support development of defensible findings.
  • Coordinate data collection requirements with supported organizations and other CAP assessment personnel.
  • Participate in planning conferences, technical exchanges, synchronization meetings, site surveys, and assessment events.
  • Conduct and support technical and operational data collection during cyber assessment execution.
  • Validate, organize, and analyze collected assessment information.
  • Identify technical findings, cyber readiness gaps, trends, operational impacts, and potential recommendations.
  • Develop and contribute to assessment reports, OARs, briefings, and other analytical products.
  • Coordinate CSSP observations and findings with other CAP analysts to support broader command and Service assessments.
  • Provide assessment status, requirements, risks, and execution information to the CAP Program Manager.
  • Travel to supported commands and assessment locations as required.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications-
  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience or Associate's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or 10 years of directly related specialized experience
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity operations, defensive cyberspace operations, cybersecurity assessment, CSSP activities, or related DoD cyber mission areas.
  • Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity and network defense concepts.
  • Experience planning or executing technical cyber assessments.
  • Experience developing data collection requirements and collecting, organizing, and analyzing cybersecurity assessment information.
  • Ability to evaluate technical cybersecurity observations in the context of operational mission requirements.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, briefing, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple technical and operational organizations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and accesses.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous CSSP or defensive cyberspace operations experience.
  • Previous DOT&E CAP, TSMO, operational test, or cyber assessment experience.
  • Experience supporting Combatant Command or Service-level cyber exercises and assessments.
  • Experience developing Data Collection Plans, assessment plans, CONOPS, Event Plans, ROE, and post-assessment analytical products.


Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.


Travel Requirements

20%-30%

COMPENSATION:

$150,000 -$200,000

The salary range provided for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary or compensation amount. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
