ResponsibilitiesWe areseekinga highly skilled and motivatedCyber Analystto join our team at ScottAFBsupportingtheAirMobilityCommand (AMC) Intelligence Directorate (A2). The Cyber Analyst will play a critical role incryptologic support,cybersecurity operations, andsystem administrationto protect mission-critical systems and networks. This position requiresexpertisein cyber threat analysis, cryptologic operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performcryptologic supportandcybersecurity operationsto safeguard sensitive information and mission-critical systems.
- Providesystem administration support, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise and local network devices.
- Support the development and implementation ofcyber defense measuresto protect against emerging threats.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents, ensuringtimelyresolution and reporting.
- Liaise with theEnterprise Service Desk (ESD)andEnterprise Service Center (ESC)to resolve technical issues and ensure system availability.
- Maintain compliance with all security protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Experience Level: Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- DOD 8140 compliance: based on DCWF code 462, intermediate level
- Expertiseinsystem administration,cryptologicsupport,andcybersecurity operations.
- Proficiencyincryptologic support,cybersecurity operations, andsystem administration.
- Familiarity with cyber defense tools, network security, and incident response methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cyber threat analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and collaborating with teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment.
- Security Clearance:ActiveTop Secret/SCIclearance isrequired.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at Air Force Major Command (MAJCOM) Intelligence Directorate or similar military organization.
- Knowledge ofcryptologic systems, tools, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Air Force cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Prior experience mentoring or training junior personnel.

Target Salary Range$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
