Full Job Description
Are you passionate about capital markets, data analytics, and client engagement? Join Similarweb as a Customer Success Manager (CSM) focused on our investor clients across North America. In this consultative and analytical role, you'll be the strategic partner helping our institutional investor clients turn digital insights into actionable investment strategies. From onboarding to long-term optimization, you'll guide hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital groups, and investment banks through impactful use of Similarweb's market intelligence.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Client Consultation & Strategy: Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across investor accounts - guiding them on how to leverage Similarweb to inform key business decisions
  • Data Analysis & Storytelling: Analyze digital traffic and engagement data to create compelling, insight-rich backtests and narratives tailored to investor KPIs. Deliver insights through presentations, reports, and real-time consults.
  • Customer Enablement: Own the onboarding journey, training users to become power users of the platform and data. Equip clients with the skills and context needed for long-term success.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate deep, long-term partnerships by understanding each client's strategic goals and aligning our solutions to support them.
  • Proactive Client Management: Anticipate pain points, mitigate churn risks, and identify upsell opportunities. Ensure customers are fully engaged and realize the "so what?" behind every data point.
  • Product Mastery: Become a subject matter expert across Similarweb's full product suite, always ready to offer tailored solutions and innovative use cases.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services ecosystem-ideally with hands-on experience with Hedge Funds, PE, VC, and/or Investment Banking.
  • Passion for alternative data and an understanding of how digital signals can tie into investment decisions.
  • Proven success in client-facing roles, with the ability to influence and advise multiple stakeholders, as well as experience owning full renewal cycles across an owned book of business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Strategy, or related experience.
  • Confident in presenting insights, both in writing and verbally, to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical thinker who can quickly dissect complex problems and design data-driven solutions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced SaaS environment with strong project management skills.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively across global teams.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience using Similarweb or other digital intelligence/alternative data platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling) and familiarity with APIs, Excel Plug-ins, and advanced analytics tools.

The base salary range for this position in the New York City area is $84,000 to $114,000, plus benefits, including: medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K plan, potential equity, employee stock purchase plan, and paid sick and parental leave.

In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the company's sales incentive plan, with a maximum target OTE of up to $163,000, depending upon the final terms of employment and achievement of established targets.
Individual compensation is based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and relevant experience.

The base salary range above is for the Burlington, Massachusetts area, and could vary for candidates in other locations.
