About this opportunity:

T-Mobile is one of Ericsson's top global customers and is known to be at the forefront of technology development and adoption. With a strong outlook for future growth and innovation, we are looking for an experienced Customer Solutions Director - Networks to join the CU T-Mobile CTO team.

In this role, you will focus on Ericsson's Networks (BNEW) portfolio and Radio Access Network (RAN) evolution for T-Mobile, engaging with the customer and the CU in a great learning environment where we work on the front lines of network strategy, development, and adoption.

You Will:

  • Work with the CU Core 3, Market Area team and directly engage with the Business Unit Networks (BNEW) teams on T-Mobile Radio requirements, solutions and development for all current technologies as well as 6G.
  • Formulate strategies for Network Evolution, from both a HW and SW perspective, and align that with the new service ambitions.
  • Focus on new spectrum introductions
  • Consider Coverage, Capacity and enablement of new services
  • Have focus on Network Performance
  • Work with new architectures and HW capabilities such as Cloud RAN, Inferencing and new compute platforms, multitenancy, etc
  • Drive new requirements towards portfolio and product teams as well as standardization initiatives
  • Evaluate requirements for new service and enterprise introductions and ensure performance is addressed from an E2E perspective.
  • Support CTO and Account team with customer dialogues to anchor the above
  • Partner with sales teams to explore needs, engage the customer, and translate found opportunities into detailed technical offering and proposals.


To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • A demonstrated ability to effectively leverage the wider global Ericsson organization, including Business Areas, GFTL and Market Area domain teams, in support of complex Networks and RAN customer engagements.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technology, solutions, and/or product management within the telecoms/ICT industry, with a strong focus on Networks and RAN domains.
  • Experience working with Product Lines and Development Units in Networks, including influencing product roadmaps and deployment strategies.
  • Solid background in network and RAN architecture, solution management, and establishing and maintaining senior-level relationships with CSP customers.
  • A strong internal network within Ericsson's solutions and services community, particularly within BNEW and Networks/RAN.
  • End-to-end understanding of Ericsson's RAN and Networks portfolio across both services and products, with a specific focus on Radio, Compute, and RAN software domains (including Cloud RAN).
  • Proven track record of effective leadership, working across organizations and projects, and driving complex, first-of-a-kind RAN and network solutions.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to shape network evolution discussions, build advisory relationships, and influence customer decision-making.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive and senior levels, both internally and with T-Mobile.
  • Ability to thrive in a front-runner customer environment where network concepts and solutions are often developed and deployed for the first time.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is

• Bellevue, WA: $185,000 - $242,550

Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
