Job Description
As a member of the Customer Project Coordinator Family, your role is to promptly responds to customer inquiries, feedback, and resolves customer issues with the goal of satisfying the customer and enhancing the opinion of the company, while still maintaining the company's interest. This role provides assistance in promoting the safe and reliable use of energy, through planning and installation of either natural gas or electric service. This is completed through the complex electrical design and coordination of line and main extensions or rebuild of existing facilities in order to meet or exceed our customer's expectations. There are several levels within the CPC job family, progression is based on performance, operational needs and scope complexity.

Requirements

CPC I:

  • High School diploma, GED, or Journeyman card required.
  • Zero to two years of direct work experience directly related to GIS, planning, and/or designing construction of natural gas facilities with an emphasis in customer service is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in cooperating in a team environment, negotiation, problem solving, construction management, and excellent communication skills.
  • Qualified applicants will have basic computer skills, ability to learn computer applications for construction design, and ability to interpret and explain complex business processes and concepts.
  • Strong working knowledge of key operation business process and core applications desired.
  • Requires valid driver's license and must be able to travel to job sites throughout Avista service territory.
  • Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.

Starting Range $77,595 to $100,486, ML 8

CPC II:

  • All of the above qualifications.
  • College Level Degree, Journeyman Card or equivalent education and experience.
  • Three+ years work experience directly related to planning and designing of electric facilities with an emphasis in customer service.


Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Starting Range $88,336 to $114,838, ML 9

This position requires an in-person presence to support team and on-site responsibilities.
