Job Summary

As Customer Marketing Specialist you are responsible for building and nurturing a community of customers, fostering engagement, advocating for customer needs, generating demand for our products and driving brand loyalty and growth through innovative initiatives. You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to showcase real-world impact, bring customer narratives to life, and ensure campaigns are executed smoothly from concept through launch.

In this role as a Customer Marketing Specialist, you will:
  • Identify, develop, and manage customer stories including case studies, testimonials, videos, and quotes
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to source advocates and capture authentic customer insights
  • Manage customer reference programs and maintain a library of customer proof points
  • Collaborate with content, design, and external partners to produce high-quality customer assets
  • Plan, execute, and manage customer-focused marketing campaigns across email, web, social, webinars, and events
  • Support lifecycle marketing initiatives such as onboarding, adoption, renewals, and upsell campaigns
  • Coordinate timelines, assets, and stakeholders to ensure campaigns launch on time and on brand
  • Track campaign performance and share insights to optimize future efforts
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to align customer stories to key value propositions and launches
  • Support Sales with customer-driven assets that strengthen credibility and enable conversations
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders across marketing and the organization to create Customer Marketing activities that help drive interest and demand for our products and services.
  • Create a sense of belonging and connection among customers, enhancing the customer experience, and leveraging customer insights for marketing programs.
  • Support an engaging experience for our customer community.
  • Recruit community members and customer advocates through various channels including at in-person events and equipping sales and CS teams with resources and directions on how to do 1:1 with customers.
  • Support special projects as needed for the Marketing team.

For this role as a Customer Marketing Specialist, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or applicable experience
  • 2-3 years experience in marketing, with an understanding of the different channels and initiatives
  • Experience in education as an educator or administrator preferred

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret customer data
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Experience working in integrated marketing teams and/or matrixed organizations
  • Proven project management skills to track, communicate progress, and complete a project on schedule
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Additional Information

The below compensation range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location.

Salary Range

$68,000-$93,500 USD
