  • Provide insight summaries for monthly OCE and Group President Ops reviews, supporting quarterly analyses
  • Assist management on projects that involve applying automation technologies
  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs for business users
  • Present analysis findings to leadership and stakeholders for informed decision making
  • Manage and schedule analytic requests and drive execution of the analytics digital roadmap
  • Lead cross-divisional projects to enhance customer relations

Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Data Analyst has responsibility for improving data quality and the design and analysis of data quality metrics for Parker's Corporate Master data, including, but not limited to Parker's Customer, Distributor, Division, and Product data. Analyzes requests for data and develops solutions to meet requirements of team and other Parker colleagues. Investigates and resolves reporting issues of Parker Distributors and Parker Divisions.

This position works in collaboration with business partners at all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions:
  • Deliver CX performance reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations to support growth objectives and optimize costs to serve Parker customers.
  • Build and maintain CX dashboards and recurring CX content for GM consumption, completing comprehensive CX analysis to highlight trends, drivers, and opportunities.
  • Create, compile and interpret key operational and statistical data, analyze performance metrics, and generate a variety of value-added reports
  • Provide insight summaries to support monthly OCE and Group President Ops reviews and quarterly customer relationship analyses
  • Assist department management as required on projects involving application of automation technologies to
    department processes.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting in support of business users.
  • Present analysis to leadership and key stakeholders for key decision making
  • Oversee management and scheduling of analytic requests
  • Drive and execute the analytics digital roadmap
  • Lead cross divisional project deployments to improve customer relations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field (e.g., e.g., Data Science, Customer Experience, Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Marketing)
  • 2-4 years minimum, 5 years preferred related experience such as data extraction and analytics, data quality, and database relational structures
  • Applicants must be authorized and certified to work in the United States and be eligible to handle ITAR- and Export Compliance-related data in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Proficient with complex abstract data concepts and large relational and non-relational data
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter able to independently complete tasks accurately and quickly
  • Proficient query/report writing skills using Power BI and Google Analytics, with a thorough understanding of relational database structure./
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot table design, macros a plus
