About the role

The Custom Manufacturing Planner will be responsible for end-to-end supply planning of all displays, special packs and embellished products for the respective brand. This includes inventory planning, production planning, new product planning, planning product line assembly and components to meet changing monthly forecasts to achieve Customer Service and Inventory goals.

The Custom Manufacturing Planner will also review and act upon order release, action exception messages generated, and coordinates Bills of Materials in an MRP environment. The planner will work closely with demand planning, sales and marketing to finalize the custom product requirements and execute the plan in close coordination with both internal and external embellishment partners.

This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time!

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and manage master production schedules using Kinaxis/SAP, aligning forecasts, inventory, and service targets while adjusting short-term plans based on daily sales activity.
  • Coordinate with supply planners and suppliers to ensure availability of finished goods, components, and raw materials, including placing purchase orders and supporting special pack production.
  • Oversee MRP demand alignment and system data accuracy, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods and components for custom manufacturing.
  • Monitor capacity, inventory health, and constraints across logistics/embellishment centers, including inventory corrections and managing slow-moving or obsolete stock to mitigate risk.


The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Previous planning experience / experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working with quality systems and related SOPs and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong software skills in all MS office software such as Excel, Word and Outlook in addition to strong skills using SAP systems.

US salary ranges

USD $81,000.00 - $121,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
