Job OverviewThe Curator is responsible for a variety of tasks involved in researching, acquiring, interpreting, exhibiting, and sharing the AltaMed Art Collection, which includes approximately 3,000 works of art in various media. The Curator must be an accomplished professional with a record of publications, acquisitions, and exhibitions.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in art history, museum studies, or related field required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional curatorial work experience in museums, galleries, or visual art organizations required.
- Experience in acquiring artworks and archival materials.
- Established record of scholarly and professional contributions.
Compensation$96,408.00 - $124,527.00 annually
