Career Technical Training (CTT) Manager

Primary Position Objectives

Responsible for the management of the Career Technical Training Center to provide students with industry-recognized training and certifications leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.

Annual Salary: $82,572-$82,573
  • Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensure no manipulation of student data
  • Ensure Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals
  • Interview, recommend for hire, discipline, recommend for termination, and evaluate the performance of the employees in the Career Technical Training Department; Fill staff vacancies in a timely manner
  • Provide students with training leading to Career Technical Training completion and industry-recognized certifications
  • Provide students with comprehensive and individualized case management that ensures student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program
  • Ensure instructors provide quality career technical training that leads to student placement; Track and monitor program objectives to ensure goals are met
  • Ensure that area of oversight is organized, clean, safe and conducive to student learning
  • Effectively motivate, empower, and require staff to perform his/her job responsibilities
  • Employ sound time-management and delegation skills; Hold staff accountable for producing quality work, develop staff for career progression, and discipline staff that fail to meet goals
  • Provide required and supplemental training for new and current employees
  • Motivate and manage staff to work effectively, create a supportive work environment, recognize staff accomplishments, and proactively address staff performance concerns
  • Develop Center-beneficial linkages within the community for education, employment, Career Technical Training and work-based learning (WBL)
  • Promote a positive image of the Center and Job Corps and establish meaningful relationships with elected officials
  • Demonstrate and abide by LifeSkills Connection's core values and operating principles
  • Comply with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), LifeSkills Connection Inc.'s policies and procedures, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures
  • Participate in PRH mandated staff training; Failure to participate may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

A minimum of two years' experience in teaching or a related field required. Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.

Education
