Your Role as a CT Radiographer
As a
CT Radiographer at UMMS, you'll play a crucial role in d
elivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, ensuring
precision, patient safety, and
fast, accurate results. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating high-resolution Tomography / CT Imaging equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images
- Demonstrates clinical competence in Musculoskeletal, Neuro and Body
- Demonstrated ability to fix studies in the private area in collaboration with EPIC
- Ensuring patient safety, comfort & proper positioning procedures
- Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to compliance standards
Qualifications- Maryland Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility)
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- BLS Certification
- Previous hospital or outpatient imaging experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care & teamwork
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred
