Full Job Description
CT Manager to lead our Computed Tomography program across multiple locations. This is a high-impact, visible role for a clinical leader who thrives at the intersection of hands-on patient care and operational excellence. If you're a CT Technologist who has grown into leadership and wants to shape the future of cardiovascular imaging at a respected cardiology practice, we want to hear from you!

This is a working manager role - you'll stay clinically active while driving quality, compliance and team performance.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, current NYS Radiologic Technologist licensure, and ARRT certification in both Radiography and CT, with at least five years of CT experience and three or more years in advanced cardiac CT including CCTA. Supervisory or management experience is a strong plus, and BLS certification is required. Familiarity with IAC accreditation, advanced cardiac post-processing software, and CT billing and coding will set candidates apart.

Beyond credentials, we're looking for someone organized, analytical, and an excellent communicator - equally comfortable presenting data to leadership or coaching a new technologist on protocol adherence. Comfort with PACS, EMR systems, and Google Workspace is expected, along with flexibility to travel between practice locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Cardiac CT & Clinical Operations
  • Our cardiac CT program includes Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA), Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring, and structural heart imaging. Working closely with the Chief CT Physician, the CT Manager standardizes and optimizes protocols, evaluates emerging technologies including AI-assisted plaque analysis software, and ensures services remain aligned with current cardiovascular imaging guidelines. Clinical engagement is built into this role - performing CT exams, assisting with ECG-gated procedures, and serving as the technical resource the team relies on.

Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation
  • This role owns our compliance posture across NYS DOH, CMS, OSHA, HIPAA, and radiation safety (ALARA) requirements, and leads our IAC accreditation program from initial submission through reaccreditation. Responsibilities include coordinating physicist testing, equipment quality assurance, dosimetry review, and Primary Diagnostic Monitor (PDM) compliance - maintaining inspection readiness at all times.

Team Leadership & Staff Development
  • The CT Manager supervises, mentors, and develops CT Technologists across all locations - overseeing hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, scheduling, and payroll. We're looking for a leader who coaches in the moment, runs meaningful staff meetings, and builds a team culture grounded in patient safety and imaging excellence.

Reporting, Finance & Strategy
  • Monthly reporting covers exam volumes, utilization, radiation dose metrics, equipment uptime, and patient access. This role collaborates with Revenue Cycle on charge capture and reimbursement, manages vendor relationships and invoices, and contributes to capital planning and strategic growth for CT services.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • NYS Licensed Radiologic Technologist; ARRT (Radiography & CT) certified.
  • 5+ years of CT experience required; 3+ years of advanced Cardiac CT (CCTA) and 2+ years of management experience preferred.
  • Proficient in cardiac protocols, post-processing software, and IAC accreditation standards.
  • Basic Life Support is required.

Compensation:
  • $120,000-$130,000/ year based on experience and qualifications.

What We Offer:
  • Monday through Friday day schedule
  • Vacation and Paid Sick Accruals
  • Health, Dental, and FSA plans available
  • Voluntary Supplemental Benefits options
  • Generous 401k Contributions
  • Tuition Reimbursement opportunities
