Full Job Description
This role in an in office role requiring working in office five days per week. Locations listed on the requisition are strongly preferred. However, other Truist hub locations could be considered based on candidate qualifications. Serve as a key contributor on the CSBB Sales Effectiveness team, focused on improving business performance by driving consistent, high-quality sales behaviors and measurable sales outcomes across client facing teams. This role partners closely with Sales, Product, Performance Management, Readiness, and Market Performance partners to diagnose performance drivers, translate insights into market specific playbooks, and activate CSBB targeted sales strategies that improve execution, adoption, and results across the footprint. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 1.    Design, develop, and deploy sales enablement initiatives that improve seller capability, behavior adoption, and execution aligned to CSBB sales priorities (e.g., client conversations, needs‑based selling, cross‑sell, and referral behaviors). 2.    Meet deadlines and milestones in timely manner - includes proactive planning with Implementation Project Manager or Project Managers for key delivery dates and execution. 3.    Partner with Sales leaders and Performance teams across all segments to identify priority sales behaviors and performance gaps and translate those insights into targeted enablement solutions. 4.    Use performance data, field feedback, and leader insights to continuously refine sales enablement strategies and improve effectiveness. 5.    Ensure sales tools, learning, and reinforcement mechanisms are practical, field‑ready, and directly tied to how teammates sell and serve clients. 6.    Ability to quickly and proactively engage appropriate partners for successful project completion - e.g. SMEs, compliance, Project Managers, WFM. 7.    Consistently deliver effective written and verbal communications of self, and that of team for each milestone 8.    Foster an environment of fair and constructive development support to improve output and performance for teams' development and engagement. 9.    Analyze market and segment performance (e.g., scorecards, dashboards, and field inputs) to identify variability, root causes, and priority opportunities; translate findings into clear performance narratives for leaders. 10.    Build, maintain, and continuously improve market playbooks that standardize best practices, define “what good looks like,” and provide actionable guidance (plays, talk tracks, routines, and tools) aligned to CSBB priorities. 11.    Partner with LOB and market leaders to activate playbooks through leader routines, coaching, and reinforcement; define success measures and monitor adoption and performance impact to inform iteration. 12.    Represent Sales Effectiveness in cross‑functional workstreams, ensuring sales execution implications are clearly understood and addressed. 13.    Ability to predict, manage and solve for potential roadblocks, pitfalls and concerns in projects QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1.    Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience and related training; 2.    6-8 years of experience in financial services experience; 3.    Demonstrated experience supporting or influencing sales teams, client‑facing roles, or revenue‑generating environments; 4.    Thorough knowledge of consumer and small business banking; 5.    Ability to connect learning and enablement efforts to observable behavior change and performance outcomes; 6.    Highly developed written and verbal communications (including grammar and spelling); 7.    Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products; 8.    Ability to travel, occasionally overnight; Preferred Qualifications:  1.    Experience in sales enablement, sales effectiveness, performance consulting, or revenue‑focused readiness roles; 2.    Understanding of sales operating models, frontline sales leadership rhythms, and coaching practices; 3.    Experience partnering with Sales, Product, or Performance Management teams in a matrixed environment; 4.    Ability to translate complex strategies into clear, actionable guidance for frontline sellers and leaders General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates.
