ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking Cryptologic Cyber Planner, Senior to support an Intel Community (IC) mission in Ft. Meade, MD, San Antonio, TX and Ft. Gordon, GA areas. A Cryptologic Cyber Planner provides technical expertise in the design and development of IT operation environments.
Responsibilities may include:
- Develop strategy of the client/server system and the design architecture to support strategy.
- Research new technology and advises on purchases for the client in regard to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
- Develop strategies for conducting studies to estimate the space, computer hardware, software and connection infrastructure resources required on a short and long term basis.
- Develop models of the computer and computer application environment, identifies and resolves computer operations systems performance problems.
- Measure system usage by workload type, identifying trends and estimating further resource requirements.
- May be assigned responsibility for the management of the IT operations function, including associated staff.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to an IC mission (e.g. collection, cyber and intelligence analysis) and /or a similar mission in the IC or DoD, and include strategic and/or operational level planning (e.g. joint operations).
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance or a related field is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable.
- External engagement/collaboration experience (participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, Field assignments and external customer support) is preferred

Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
