As
CryptoSenior Accountant, you will have an opportunity to rapidly develop your accounting and analysis skills in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment that is made of up a diverse set of trading businesses and other private investments.
What you'll do in this role:- Perform daily General Ledger functions such as cash and trading account reconciliation, and income and expense accruals to support month-end close
- Assist with preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Respond to requests from external auditors
- Maintain high level of data integrity of financial information amongst complex accounting and back-office systems
- Analyze detailed trade information and reconcile data between internal trade systems and external statements
- Support regulatory reporting or external filings
- Coordinate with GTO, Tax, Finance, and Legal to maintain consistent accounting treatment for trading activity
- Lead ad-hoc projects and create ad-hoc reports as needed
What you'll need for this role:- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA preferred
- 2-5 years of accounting experience
- Previous experience working in public accounting or in trading firms, hedge funds, or other similar asset management firms preferred
- Strong experience creating reports in Excel
- Previous experience working with Oracle or other accounting software preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Strong organization skills and detail orientation
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and effectively manage changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
