Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer. Duties include:
Project Support: Will support Project Managers and otherengineers in project activities including, but not limited to the following. -Purchase of equipment, including preparation of bid packages, acquisition ofquotations and bids, preparation of purchase order documents, tracking ordersand processing the invoices. - Project accounting. Will maintain the accountingrecords for multiples projects and prepare reports as needed. Will interface with the accountingdepartment. - Assist in the preparation and management of project schedules,Gantt charts, and departmental calendars. - Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) forprojects under direction of project managers. - Assist in the development ofproject cost estimates.
Engineering Departmental Support: Will support activities and projects tomaintain efficient operation and continued improvement of the engineeringdepartment. These include, but notlimited to the following. - Evaluation of software packages for process,safety, document control or project management. - Document management for thedepartment. - Preparation of technical white papers or other documents. - Workwith management, engineers, and customers to develop new standards forproduction.
Project Engineering: Will support technical andconstruction activities and necessary for project completion. These activities include, but not limited tothe following. - Conduct technical inspections of all components built for theproject. - Field verification of P&IDs and redlining/correction asrequired. - Pressure testing of equipment and systems. Dry down of equipmentand systems. - Troubleshooting ofsystems and assisting in start-up activities. - Development of operatingprocedures. - Assist in the preparation of the Process Hazards Assessment asrequired during project planning. - Be responsible for ensuring that theproject is managed in a safe and professional manner and that it is undertakenin compliance with all relevant SHE requirements. - Participate in smallimprovement projects (SIP) and Lean/Six Sigma projects.

Essential Functions
Comprehensive knowledge of basic engineering principles, construction, and project management.
Ability to effectively communicate through excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, prioritization, and multi-tasking. - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Familiarity with project management tools and/ or software packages - Knowledge of high-pressure gas systems and/or cryogenic liquids helpful.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
Design and Simulation: Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and heat/material balances for gas and cryogenic piping, pumping, pipeline and compression systems.
Process Optimization: Analyze process data to debottleneck processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs, often using simulation software.
Equipment Sizing & Specification: Specify and size vessels, piping, pumps, heat exchangers/vaporizers, and relief devices.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations meet industry safety standards, environmental regulations, and company guidelines, conducting risk assessments (HAZOP/HAZID).
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support to operations for troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, manage project budgets, and oversee EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with preference tochemical, mechanical and electrical disciplines
Work Experience
1-3 years Projector process engineering experience. Management of small projects
4-6 years 5+years of experience in project management. Stainless steel fabricationestimating experience desired
3-7+ years in cryogenic gas processing or related, such asLNG.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in the industrial and specialty gas industry desired.
Software Skills: Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., ASPEN HYSYS) and AutoCAD.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, air separation, gas pipelines and compression.
Codes & Standards: Familiarity with ASME, API, and ASTM codes.

Pay Range $110,000 to $140,000 depending on experience
