Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history, physical examination, and evaluation of diagnostic data.
- Develop individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the surgical and medical team.
- Administer general, regional, local, and sedation anesthesia techniques based on patient needs and procedural requirements.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, airway, and overall condition throughout surgical and procedural interventions.
- Adjust anesthesia delivery as needed to maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Provide immediate post-anesthesia care, including pain management, recovery assessment, and discharge readiness.
- Respond to emergency situations, including airway management, resuscitation, and crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia care in patient records.
- Adhere to professional, legal, and ethical standards of anesthesia practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and clinical training.
Reports to: Chief CRNA
Qualifications- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
