Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field required; Doctorate preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure and CRNA certification required.
• Certification from Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required.
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations and review patient medical histories.
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans and obtain informed consent.
• Administer various anesthetic techniques and perform regional anesthesia blocks.
• Induce and maintain anesthesia during diverse medical procedures while monitoring patient responses.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and manage patient recovery.
• Respond to emergency situations as part of the code team, offering advanced airway and resuscitation management.
• Educate patients and families on anesthesia processes and post-operative care, including managing pain.
