Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care for ICU patients, focusing on Level II Trauma cases
  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APP) while maintaining independent practice
  • Deliver consistent ICU care exclusively during scheduled shifts
  • Engage in various shift patterns including in-house daytime, combined in-house/off-site call, overnight home call, and 24/7 APP support
  • Adapt to a structured workflow that balances both supervisory and clinical duties
Full Job Description
  • Shifts available: 7am-7pm in house, 7a-7p (in-house) + 7p-7a (off-site call), Overnight call from home 7pm to 7am, APP support in house 24/7
  • Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Only ICU patients are being seen per day
  • Supervision or independent: Required to Supervise other Providers: APP supervision. Oversight is minimal as nurse practitioners are able to practice independently.
  • Specific requirements/restrictions: Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care - Required, ACLS, DEA, CSR - Required, Active IA License or IMLC - Required, Must be able to cover 10 shifts per month - list exact availability as much as you can - Required, note at time of name clear, COVID vaccine - Required, note at time of name clear
