Job Posting

There are two Crime Analyst positions at the City of Burnsville. This opening is for the analyst supporting the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) and Police Administration. Their focus will be on supporting data-driven, collaborative responses to BHU clients, by conducting research and information sharing, as well as serving as the technical lead for data systems and analysis for the unit.

They will also be the primary person responsible for statistical and strategic analysis of department operations, to include crime statistics, emerging trends and hotspots, and informational research projects for city leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for this position include Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, computer forensics geography computer science/engineering or an equivalent degree
