Full Job Description
The Team

Pinterest's Global Credit Risk team sits under the Revenue Risk team within Finance / Accounting and owns credit risk management, KYC, and AR reserves for our global advertiser base. We partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Revenue Accounting to enable growth while protecting Pinterest from credit losses.As a Credit Analyst, you'll help define how we evaluate risk, set credit limits and payment terms, and keep our order-to-cash process running smoothly.

What You'll Do:
  • Assess advertiser and agency creditworthiness using financial information, payment history, credit agency data, and internal risk tools.
  • Set,maintain, and adjust credit limits and payment terms within defined approval matrices, and escalate higher-risk or high-value accounts to Credit leadership.
  • Review and decision credit holds on insertion orders / PinOrders - approving within authority, conditioning approval (e.g., guarantees, deposits, shorter terms), or declining with clear rationale.
  • Partner with Collections to resolve past-due balances to help mitigate credit risk and reduce potential losses.
  • Help prepare quarterly AR reserve analyses and support SOX-relevant controls by maintaining accurate documentation and audit-ready workpapers.
  • Manage a queue of cases in Salesforce and other internal tools, meeting SLAs while keeping data (credit limits, terms, risk codes) complete and accurate.
  • Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and Accounting to explain credit decisions, discuss risk appetite, and align on strategies for strategic or complex accounts.
  • Identify and help drive process and tooling improvements (for example, reducing unnecessary manual reviews, clarifying thresholds, or improving automation coverage).
  • Leverage data analysis to uncover strategic insights, support decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve credit risk processes, policies, and outcomes.


What We're Looking For:
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in B2B risk, credit, corporate lending, banking, or order-to-cash / AR roles, preferably in a tech, media, or advertising environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration , or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills:
    • Working knowledge of credit analysis (financial statements, capital markets, payment behavior, qualitative risk factors).
    • Experience with ERP and CRM or case-management tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Salesforce) and strong comfort working in queues.
    • Familiarity with order-to-cash processes (order booking, billing, collections, cash application, AR reserves).
  • Analytical & operational skills:
    • Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail; comfortable making decisions within policy and knowing when to escalate.
    • Ability to manage multiple requests at once, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet turnaround times.
    • SQL experience preferred; ability to query, analyze, and interpret data via tools like Hive and Snowflake to support credit, risk, and risk mitigation decision-making.
    • Experience using AI tools preferred to improve productivity, support analysis, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making.
  • Communication & collaboration:
    • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills; able to explain credit decisions and policy in a way that is easy for non-finance partners to understand.
    • Proven track record of building productive relationships with Clients, Sales, Operations, and Finance partners.

In-Office Requirement Statement:
  • We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. What this looks like day-to-day can vary based on the needs of each organization or role.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration as needed (1-2 times a year as an estimate) and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country. Due to team collaboration needs, this role is for candidates who can work Eastern or Central time zone hours, with Eastern time zone hours preferred.
