Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in credit, collections, or financial management, ideally in distribution or wholesale sectors.
• Experience with contractor, commercial, or trade customers is advantageous.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, negotiation, collections, and decision-making.
• Proven track record in leading and developing teams effectively.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage financial risk confidently.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate HVAC contractors and commercial customers for credit limits and terms.
• Monitor customer payment history and AR aging to assess financial performance.
• Lead collection efforts on high-risk accounts while maintaining customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales and Branch Management to align sales with responsible credit decisions.
• Manage all aspects of credit insurance claims and collection agency engagements.
• Track and report on DSO, cash flow, and credit exposure to senior leadership.
• Oversee necessary documentation for construction and commercial accounts through lien waivers.
• Enhance processes related to credit, collections, and customer onboarding.
