Responsibilities

The News Creator team develops and executes strategies to grow the news content ecosystem through management, partnerships, and key programs. We work closely with Product teams to understand creator cohorts and set priorities, while collaborating with News Publishers and cross-functional partners to drive efforts forward within the evolving news landscape. Responsibilities: - Develop, support and execute scaled programs focused on engaging and supporting TikTok News Creators - Build and Manage relationships with News Creators and Journalists, supporting News content strategies - Align on standardized, clear measurement plans in line with the product team and track engagement and program progress to goals, incorporating improvements to optimize program success - Collaborate with operations teams to localize and launch creator programs in line with key business frameworks across global markets - Align with product team to identify strategic growth opportunities informed by data-driven needs and product roadmaps - Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g. Comms, GR, Legal) to operationalize and scale creator programs and engagement.

Qualifications

Minumum Qualifications: - BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience - Demonstrated understanding of the digital news ecosystem, journalism industry, and creator landscape. Experience in creator partnerships, content partnerships, program management, media partnerships, journalism, digital media, social platforms, or related fields. - Experience developing and executing end-to-end programs, including planning, launch, stakeholder management, measurement, and reporting. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Experience building and managing relationships with creators, journalists, publishers, media organizations, or other external partners. - Experience working cross-functionally with product, communications, policy, legal, operations, and other stakeholder teams to drive business objectives. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting recommendations and program updates to internal and external stakeholders. - Experience using data and insights to inform strategy, measure program performance, and identify opportunities for optimization. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a newsroom, news agency, or news-focused organization. - Experience at a social media platform, technology company, media company, newsroom, or creator-focused organization. - Familiarity with creator monetization, audience development, content strategy, and platform growth best practices. - Experience launching or scaling creator engagement, education, or community programs.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88920 - $209380 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
