Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Creative Director to lead and elevate all visual output for our brand. This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role based in Post Falls, Idaho, working closely with a collaborative team of graphic designers, photographers, and videographers. This role is responsible for maintaining and elevating Shabby Fabrics' current brand position, ensuring every visual asset is on brand, strategically aligned, and executed at the highest possible caliber. The ideal candidate brings exceptional creative judgment, deep technical expertise, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead creative direction and visual standards across all brand assets
- Work in person with a team of graphic designers, photographers, and videographers
- Oversee photography, graphic design, and visual storytelling from concept through final delivery
- Ensure all visual output is cohesive, premium, and unmistakably on brand
- Maintain and elevate Shabby Fabrics' established brand presence and industry leadership
- Stay current on social media platforms, trends, and required sizing and formats
- Ensure visual content performs at scale across platforms, including high-visibility channels such as Pinterest
- Mentor, teach, and correct team members as needed to elevate overall creative output
- Uphold uncompromising quality control with a relentless pursuit of best-in-class visual assets
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver polished, strategic, and impactful visual content
Required Skills & Qualifications- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically:
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Lightroom
- Bonus: Familiarity with Adobe Premiere
- Accomplished professional photographer with strong expertise in:
- Propping
- Lighting
- Composition
- Color correction
- Deep understanding of visual branding and storytelling at scale
- Proven ability to maintain and elevate an established brand
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to teach, mentor, and guide creative professionals
- Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and uncompromising creative standards
