Position Summary

Based in Canada, the Country Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance across the Trauma, Emergency Medicine, and Vascular portfolios. This leader is responsible for managing a team of Sales Representatives and Clinical Specialists, ensuring disciplined execution, strategic growth, and alignment with Teleflex's mission to improve patient outcomes.

Reporting directly to the North America VP of Sales, this role will focus on acute care hospital markets, including Emergency Departments, Critical Care, Operating Rooms, and Vascular Access environments. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic agility, and a commitment to developing high-performing teams.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Proactively manages performance & team dynamics aligned with company values.
  • Expected to perform with the highest levels of professionalism, service & ethics to strengthen the Teleflex brand & relationship with our customers.
  • Lead & inspire a high-performing team to achieve ambitious targets with strategic clarity & purpose.
  • Develop & execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive adoption of key products
  • Navigate complex sales environments, flexing across multiple call points, sales cycles, & distinct product lines.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key hospital stakeholders, influencers, & decision-makers to support long-term growth.
  • Conduct regular field visits to coach & mentor, identify opportunities, & accelerate regional performance.
  • Partner with Corporate Accounts to align/support regional & national contracting strategies & initiatives.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts & manage regional resources.
  • Assist with new product strategy & introduction into the Canadian market.
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for Canada.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including timely expense reporting and CRM utilization.
  • Plan and facilitate impactful regional/national sales meetings to drive alignment and engagement.
  • Interview, recruit, and onboard top sales talent to support organizational growth and succession planning.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with Teleflex's Code of Conduct and all applicable company policies, procedures and ethical standards.


Education / Experience Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a sales management role within medical devices.

- Proven success in Emergency Medicine, ICU, OR, and Vascular Access sales environments.

- Demonstrated skills in strategic selling, negotiation, and team leadership.

- Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced, and growth-oriented organization.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).

- Valid driver's license.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $155,000 -$275,000 CAD (inclusive of commissions) however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commissions will also vary depending on individual performance. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
