Position Summary

Centrus Energy is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Counterintelligence Program Manager (CIPM) and Security Investigator to join our Security organization. In this critical dual-role, you will strengthen Centrus' counterintelligence posture, lead complex investigations, and collaborate with federal partners to support national security. This position is based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and provides support across all Centrus facilities.

What You Will Do
• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the Centrus Counterintelligence (CI) Program.
• Conduct sensitive investigations as assigned, including insider-threat concerns, root-cause analyses, and support to law-enforcement agencies.
• Serve as a liaison with the DOE, NRC, FBI, DOW, and other government CI partners.
• Deliver CI briefings, training, and awareness materials to employees across the organization.
• Perform regular self-assessments of security programs and ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain and update CI policies, guidelines, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Security Managers across all Centrus locations to ensure consistent CI policies and practices.
• Provide CI guidance to key suppliers and strategic partners.
• Review, approve, and publish plans, procedures, schedules, and status reports.
• Serve as the alternate IAEA Additional Protocol Coordinator.
• Track and trend corrective actions tied to security performance.
• Qualify as a derivative classifier and UCNI Reviewing Official.
• May serve as the site OPSEC Coordinator.
• Document all investigative results and provide clear reports to leadership.
• Support development and delivery of security education, onboarding, and awareness programs.
• Conduct or assist with investigations into security events, including interviews, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
• Perform Change Reviewer duties for required documents.
• Complete other assignments as needed.

What You Will Bring
• Bachelor's degree in security or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and certifications.
• Certified Criminal Investigator credential.
• Minimum of two years' full-time experience within the U.S. Intelligence Community or in a CI/security-related field.
• At least three years of investigative experience, including conducting interviews and writing detailed reports.
• Strong knowledge of relevant government orders, directives, regulations, and CI principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare concise, technically accurate investigative documentation.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and analytical skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q-Level Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the nuclear industry.
• Technical or operational knowledge of centrifuge technology.
• Previous training as a classification analyst or classification officer.
• Experience handling and safeguarding classified information.
