Butler Snow LLP is seeking candidates interested in joining our litigation team in the position of Counsel or Senior Counsel (title determination commensurate with experience) for the Constitutional & Civil Rights Litigation Practice Group. This team, primarily based in Huntsville, maintains a national practice with an emphasis on federal court class actions. The firm is interested in candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
What you will do: - Be a strategic part of a defense litigation team committed to providing excellent representation to our clients
- Participate in trial preparation include case strategy, discovery, records review, client and witness interviews
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare and argue motions
- Write compelling and thoroughly researched briefs and legal memorandums
- Research and analyze complex litigation areas
What you bring: - Experience in defense litigation;
- Expertise in taking and defending depositions;
- Ability to research and investigate complex litigation areas;
- Excellent writing abilities
- License to practice law in Alabama.
