Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5-7 years of experience in cost controls, project controls, finance, or related functions on capital projects.
• Intermediate experience in forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and cost reporting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with cost management and PMIS tools like EcoSys, Procore, and Oracle is beneficial.
• Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) and cost forecasting processes is a must.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to convey cost data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project cost control processes for transmission line and substation projects.
• Maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support tracking of project performance.
• Track actual costs and manage commitments, change orders, and invoices for cost efficiency.
• Conduct cost variance and trend analysis, offering recommendations to project leadership.
• Utilize PMIS platforms to manage budgeting and reporting for projects.
• Generate cost reports and financial dashboards that communicate project cost status and needed decisions.
• Support change management and project close-out reporting from a cost perspective.
