Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5 years of experience as Cost Accountant, Internal Auditor, or similar role.
• 2 years in a managerial position in cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory cost accounting (standard cost, variance analysis, etc.).
• Proven supervisory and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory internal controls and create standard costs for products.
• Perform variance analysis for raw materials and finished goods inventory.
• Analyze and report on inventory variances and conversion costs.
• Calculate main raw materials prices and manage price adjustments and accruals.
• Oversee the month-end manufacturing closing process for accurate reporting to management.
• Analyze international product resale operations and margins.
• Collaborate with external auditors on inventory analysis and fluctuations as needed.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory observations.
• Work with IT on system maintenance and development issues relevant to multiple departments.
