The Cost Accounting Analyst will play a key role in financial analysis and the optimization of accounting processes. - Salary scale 004: $73 000 to $91 200 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
How you will contribute to collective success:
- Actively participate in the period-end closing process by preparing, supporting, and reviewing periodic, quarterly, and annual financial results analysis documents (coordination, validation, consolidation of explanations, and variance analysis) for an Agropur Canada category and department.
- Contribute to the development of analytical tools leveraging multiple databases, as well as the automation, optimization, and standardization of reporting.
- Prepare various periodic, quarterly, and annual financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Support Category Directors in explaining financial results and responding to ad hoc inquiries.
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Contribute to special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses for management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, required.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience required.
- Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, required.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency with computer software, including advanced Excel skills (various functions, pivot tables, Power Query).
- Bilingualism (French and English), both verbal and written. The individual will be required to collaborate with partners outside Quebec.
- CPA designation is considered an asset.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specialization in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience required.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
