Position Title: Cost Accountant
This is an excellent opportunity for a Cost Accountant who enjoys working closely with both accounting and operations teams to drive business performance. In this role, you'll have direct visibility into manufacturing operations while playing a key part in cost analysis, inventory management, budgeting support, and financial reporting. Your work will directly impact decision-making by helping leadership understand costs, identify efficiencies, and improve profitability.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000+ / Year DOE
Cost Accountant Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain standard costs for manufactured products
- Analyze manufacturing costs, material usage, labor, and overhead variances
- Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate inventory valuation
- Assist with month-end close activities related to inventory and cost accounting
- Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Generate and analyze reports related to production costs, margins, and operational performance
- Partner with operations and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiencies
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs
- Maintain and improve cost accounting procedures and internal controls
- Assist with ERP system reporting and data integrity initiatives
- Participate in audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation as needed
Cost Accountant Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cost accountant
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
- Proficient in Word and Outlook
- Experience with any ERP system is required
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is required
- Spanish language skills are highly preferred
- Familiarity with Business Central is preferred
