Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. is an asset
• 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and TSSA rules is preferred
• Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methods is beneficial
• Six Sigma certification is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering deliverables like PFDs, mass and energy balances, and P&IDs
• Conduct process optimization studies focusing on asphalt and thermal oil systems
• Collaborate with plant engineers to prepare specifications and present findings
• Work alongside engineers on capital investment projects
• Create and execute test plans for automated systems
• Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA)
