Full Job Description
IKO Industries is seeking a Corporate Process Engineer to join our team of skilled professionals reporting to the Process Engineering Manager. The main objective of the role is to provide process engineering services in support of optimization and continuous improvement of our existing facilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the development of process engineering deliverables (PFDs, mass and energy balances, theory of operations, P&IDs)
  • Carry out process optimization studies of industrial plants, with a focus on asphalt, thermal oil systems, and ISO/TPO plants
  • Consult and negotiate with plant engineers to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings
  • Work alongside other engineers in capital investment projects
  • Create, modify, and execute functional test plans of automated systems
  • Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA)
  • Support IKO's core values and leadership behaviours


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. is an asset
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role

  • Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methods is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
  • Six Sigma certification is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage short and long-term projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be fluent in English)
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Must have excellent planning and time management skills
  • Must be able to travel across Canada and the United States
