About the Role and Team

APC's Pricing Analyst reports to the Director of Strategic Pricing to manage project cost activities, including equitable adjustments, contract modifications, Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs), and Task Order Requests (TORs). As a Pricing Analyst, you will become a member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the submission of accurate and cost-effective solutions that offer the best value to the U.S. Government and commercial customers.

Your Impact

As a Pricing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to share innovative ideas and collaborate on various pricing activities with minimal travel. You will work with cross-functional teams, including Contracts, Procurement, Project Finance, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations, - to secure new business and develop compliant price proposal submissions. Additionally, there will be opportunities for advancement within the strategic pricing team.

Responsibilities Summary:
  • Prepare change orders, task orders, equitable adjustments, ROMS, and contract modifications.
  • Conduct pricing reviews with stakeholders as needed, to include Subsidiary Presidents, Member Representatives, Operation Managers, and Program/Project Managers, as required by corporate policies.
  • Conduct contract research to establish a baseline for pricing.
  • Perform cost analysis and estimates on pricing for proposal efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate estimating policy, GAAP, and FAR/DFAR regulations to establish reasonableness of cost and pricing.
  • Gather, organize, and incorporate historical data and source documentation.
  • Prioritize work for a variety of tasks, each with specific deadlines.
  • Review pricing requests and prepare pricing-related questions for the government or commercial customer.
  • Work with the Contracts Manager to define requirements and ensure contract compliance.
  • Collaborate with Subcontractors and government points of contact when necessary.
  • Work outside the normal schedule (nights or weekends) may be required on an as-needed basis.

Payrate: $80,000 to $100,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' experience supporting US government contracts and/or commercial contracts in a price/cost capacity; or 3 years of experience supporting US government contracts and/or commercial contracts in a price/cost role.
  • U.S. Citizenship requried.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of US government contracts and a variety of contract types (fixed price, cost plus, time & material).
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Statute, other government procurement regulations, and commercial pricing practices.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and proprietary information.


The pay range information provided is a general guideline. The pay rate offered will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as geographic locations, market data, and other business considerations, as permitted by law.

The Alutiiq people, also called by their ancestral name Sugpiaq, as well as Pacific Eskimo or Pacific Yupik, are a southern coastal people of Alaska Natives. Their traditional homelands include Prince William Sound and outer Kenai Peninsula, the Kodiak Archipelago and the Alaska Peninsula. In the early 1800s there were more than 60 Alutiiq villages in the Kodiak archipelago, with an estimated population of 13,000 people. Today more than 4,000 Alutiiq people live in Alaska.
