You Are

You are a seasoned corporate paralegal who brings strong judgment, disciplined organization, and the ability to manage complex benefit plan documentation and corporate legal workflows. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, partner effectively with attorneys and cross-functional teams, and handle sensitive information with accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.

You Will
  • Review, analyze, and summarize employee benefit plan documents, including group health and welfare plans and related materials.
  • Collaborate with HR, outside consultants, and legal counsel on benefit plan amendments, restatements, and other significant plan-related projects.
  • Draft and prepare communications on benefits matters.
  • Maintain and update governance documentation and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Support litigation workflows, including discovery, document review, and production in response to litigation holds and subpoenas.
  • Assist with corporate documentation and related tasks across a range of corporate transactional matters.


You Bring
  • 7+ years of paralegal experience within a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and sound judgment on when to escalate issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.


Compensation:

The wage range for this position is $75,000-$110,000 / year, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements.

Location:

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in the Shelton, CT office required. (No relocation assistance offered.)
