This position is located at our Edmonton East PacLease location.
THE OPPORTUNITY The Corporate Manager, Inland Lease & Rental Canada Sales division will be responsible for rental and sales for all Inland Lease & Rental Canada locations. This position will also oversee full services lease sales, contract maintenance sales, rental sales and operations, financial management, and people management for the region. This is an ideal role for a high energy leader with full-service leasing industry experience and leadership capabilities that encompass both business development and operations management.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Owns responsibility for overall Leasing and Rental Canada Division sales results overseeing lease and rental sales team and sales results
- Oversees lease sales management including marketing/market evaluation, sales cold calls, sales presentations, rate preparation, truck pricing, , closing methods, contract preparation, client relations, sales blitzes, company-sponsored customer events, sales staff goal-setting and motivation.
- Oversees rental management including sales, rental utilization, maximizing profitability, fleet mix, vocational rental program, and creating new opportunities.
- Oversees financial management including profit and loss statements, credit and collections, asset management, billing, and payables.
- Supervisory responsibilities including hiring, performance management and feedback and staff development for the sales and rental teams
- Travel up to 45% of the time to Inland dealership locations and customer visits and corporate business meetings. Must have valid passport and driver's license
WHAT WE LOOK FOR- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Management or Sales & Marketing is preferred
- Five plus years' related experience in commercial truck/automotive lease or rental environment required
- Demonstrated experience achieving sales targets and business development goals with the ability to lead sales teams in achieving aggressive sales results
- Demonstrated knowledge of heavy truck service operations
- Financial literacy, ability to analyze financial data and assess results, ability to assess deal structure, profit margins, utilization rates, budget variances and overall sales and operations results
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide and foster team development
- Executive presence with the ability to effectively present to executive level internal and external customers
- Valid Driver's License and Valid Passport as needed for business travel
