Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Facilities Manager to oversee multi-site facility maintenance operations, vendor partnerships, and technical infrastructure across our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective facility operations through strategic vendor management, maintenance planning, and oversight of critical building systems.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and accountability for facility operations, maintenance programs, service contracts, and infrastructure performance across multiple locations while driving operational efficiencies and cost optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Service Contract Management
  • Negotiate, manage, and oversee third-party vendors, specialized technicians, and subcontractors, including janitorial, landscaping, roofing, pest control, and specialized equipment service providers.
  • Monitor contractor performance, ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and conduct regular vendor performance reviews.
  • Centralize and manage contract administration to improve service consistency and address performance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Develop scopes of work, evaluate vendor proposals, and maintain strong vendor relationships across all locations.


Facilities & Infrastructure Management

Provide oversight, maintenance planning, and escalation support for critical building systems, including:
  • HVAC systems and environmental controls
  • Fire protection, life-safety, alarm, and security systems
  • Commercial electrical infrastructure and emergency power systems
  • Plumbing and backflow prevention systems
  • Elevator systems
  • Roofing and building structures
  • Waste management and recycling programs
  • Landscaping and grounds maintenance
  • Pest control services


Financial Management & Cost Optimization
  • Analyze facility maintenance expenditures and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
  • Leverage multi-site purchasing power to negotiate competitive pricing and service agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist in the development and management of annual operating maintenance budgets.
  • Support capital repair and infrastructure improvement projects while ensuring fiscal accountability.


Site Support & Operational Excellence
  • Standardize preventive maintenance programs and best practices across all facilities.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for facility-related emergencies, equipment failures, and system outages.
  • Partner with local site leadership to communicate and implement facility programs, contract changes, and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience
  • 5-7+ years of experience in commercial facility management, maintenance operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing multi-site or regional facility operations.


Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of:
    • Commercial HVAC systems
    • Electrical systems and emergency power infrastructure
    • Commercial plumbing systems
    • Fire protection and life-safety systems
    • Backflow prevention systems
    • Building maintenance and compliance requirements

Vendor & Contract Management
  • Proven experience negotiating service agreements and vendor contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendor performance and service delivery.
  • Experience developing scopes of work and evaluating contractor proposals.

Financial & Analytical Skills
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital expenditure projects.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze costs and implement cost-containment strategies.
  • Ability to identify operational trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.


KPI & Performance Management
  • Experience developing, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ability to use data to drive decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable business insights.
  • Bilingual communication skills are considered an asset.

Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 50% across company locations as required.


Compensation:
  • Annual: $95,000- $105,000 (depending on the experience)
    90% Base Salary (guaranteed compensation) plus 10% Annual Performance Incentive tied to Cost Reduction, Budget Optimization, Operational Performance, Compliance, and Key Responsibility achievement.
  • Full-Time position
