Your Responsibilities as Corporate Counsel- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements.
- Act as a liaison between the Contract Team and other stakeholders within the organization.
- Articulate negotiating positions to stakeholders.
- Advise on contract interpretation, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Work closely with contract paralegals to ensure efficiency and consistency in the contract process from intake to execution.
- Facilitate contractually required insurance documentation.
- Act as a liaison between the Contract Team, Sales Team, and insurance broker.
- Track requests from inception to conclusion and generate reports on workflow.
- Support the development and refinement of contract templates, playbooks, and processes to improve efficiency.
- Advise the AGC on licensing and regulatory matters affecting the company.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3-4 years of experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of legal language, principles, and processes as well as other related matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office 365, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Superior organization, administration and document management skills to undertake work in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to efficiently manage time and priorities workflow to meet deadlines.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
