Join Our Growing Legal Team as Corporate Counsel - Minneapolis-Based Opportunity!

Are you a detail-driven attorney looking to take the next step in your corporate legal career? We're seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you'll work closely with our Assistant General Counsel to support the sales team, playing a key part in negotiating commercial agreements, managing contract workflows, and advising on risk and compliance matters.

Your Responsibilities as Corporate Counsel
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements.
    • Act as a liaison between the Contract Team and other stakeholders within the organization.
    • Articulate negotiating positions to stakeholders.
    • Advise on contract interpretation, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
    • Work closely with contract paralegals to ensure efficiency and consistency in the contract process from intake to execution.
    • Facilitate contractually required insurance documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between the Contract Team, Sales Team, and insurance broker.
  • Track requests from inception to conclusion and generate reports on workflow.
  • Support the development and refinement of contract templates, playbooks, and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Advise the AGC on licensing and regulatory matters affecting the company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 3-4 years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of legal language, principles, and processes as well as other related matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Superior organization, administration and document management skills to undertake work in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and priorities workflow to meet deadlines.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
