Full Job Description
T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for an attorney to join its Legal Team and work at its corporate headquarters in Overland Park, KS, or its offices in Herndon, VA or Frisco, TX, primarily supporting the rapidly expanding T-Mobile Fiber team.

The Corporate Counsel - Fiber provides strategic legal support to T-Mobile's growing Fiber business, with a focus on complex commercial and wholesale fiber agreements. This role partners closely with business teams to deliver practical legal guidance, negotiate and draft agreements, support operational initiatives, and help drive business growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll do in your role.
  • Provide legal advice to a growing business unit, with a focus on interpreting and operationalizing complex wholesale fiber agreements.
  • Negotiate, structure, and draft complex commercial agreements.
  • Provide results-oriented advice in a timely manner to business clients on a broad range of legal and business matters.
  • Advise business clients in assessing short-term tradeoffs in the context of broader strategic imperatives.
  • Drive departmental initiatives, including the development or redesign of legal support processes to increase efficiencies and better align to the needs of the business.


The experience you'll bring.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a business attorney, with relevant in-house and/or top law firm transitional experience.
  • Preferred 5+ years of experience as a corporate, transactional, or licensing attorney, with top law firm and/or relevant in-house experience
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong sense of pride in work product
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited university with outstanding academic credentials
  • Current bar membership (in good standing) in at least one U.S. state; eligibility for admission to state bar applicable to office location
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and executive presence
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with ambiguous and ever-changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Desire and ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team

Base Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
