Position OverviewCMTA, a Legence company, is hiring a Corporate Business Registration and Licensure Manager who will be responsible for managing business and engineering board licensure/registration and contracting and construction licensure/registration at the city, county, state, and municipal levels across different jurisdictions. This is an onsite position that will be located in our Dublin, OH office.
Key Responsibilities - Communicate with state and local jurisdiction employees, CMTA management team, accounting team, project managers, Legence legal team, and others in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
- Manage existing business licensure for CMTA Inc. and subordinate entities "doing business as CMTA" ensuring annual filings are accurate and timely with all 50 states and relevant foreign jurisdictions.
- Manage existing engineering and contracting registrations and licensure for CMTA Inc. and all subordinate entities "doing business as CMTA" ensuring filings and updates are accurate, and fees are paid in a timely fashion for all 50 states and relevant foreign jurisdictions as well as relevant county and city jurisdictions.
- Develop documentation for new licensure and registration submittals
- Support merger and acquisition licensure transition, documentation, and long-term management working with CMTA management team, Legence M&A, and legal team
- Access public record websites to file and retrieve publicly recorded documents
- Review, prepare, and submit filings, paying close attention to rules and regulations
- Maintain clear well-organized records
- Maintain clear well-organized schedule for anticipated due dates
Desired Experience and Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's Degree, graduate work in business related area a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years' experience in accounting, business administration to include experience managing public record filings and document retrieval.
- Strong organizational and time management skills: You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects / assignments. You have a strong attention to detail and exhibit a reasonable sense of urgency when processing orders to completion.
- Excellent communication skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You communicate in both a professional and friendly manner with clients, coworkers, correspondents, and others.

- Technical competencies: You are comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and interacting with Adobe PDF documents.
